What the website itself collects
Nothing here asks you to type in personal details, because the site has no forms or accounts. Like nearly every website, the hosting provider keeps ordinary logs and traffic counts: which pages were opened, what kind of browser asked for them and a rough location derived from the network address.
Page fonts come from Google Fonts and the embedded map comes from Google Maps. Google may set its own cookies or log your address when those items load, under Google's policies.
What happens when you phone
The phone numbers shown are call-tracking numbers. The tracking provider logs when each call arrived, how long it lasted and which number it came from, and uses that to route and count calls. A call can be recorded for training or to settle a disagreement, and you hear a notice at the start if that applies.
The call is handed to an independent plumbing contractor. If you go ahead and book, that company can request your name, address and an account of the problem and keeps that information under its own rules.
Why the information is used
Call and visit records help pair callers with a nearby contractor, confirm that a handoff worked and keep the site secure. The records can be shared with the website host, the call-tracking and analytics providers, and with officials when a law requires it.
If you would like a call record deleted, send an email to the address below and say roughly when you called.
Cookies and how to reach us
